Is it true that only a few resources can be published at a time?

In your “Asset File Format and Structure Requirements” it says the following:
** Low poly/simple stylized: Approximately 25 unique assets depending on complexity.*

I want to clarify, is there really a minimum number of model resources, for example “props” if I want to publish, then I need at least 25 different resources (meshes) ? Have I understood your requirements correctly?
Thank you!

Hello, does that mean that your scene must have a minimum of 25 unique assets, that is, if you make an asset for a room, there must be 25 unique 3D objects, I don’t think a soccer ball with 10 different colors would work, for example, I suppose that counts as 1 unique object.

Hi. Yes, they must be unique and a bit elaborate (a simple rock won’t do it). You also can’t separate an asset into various little assets, you’ll get rejected.

For Props:
5 minimum if realistic/high poly
25 minimum if low-poly

For Character, Vehicles and Weapons:
1 minimum with category requirements (ex. rigged skeleton, animations, etc)

I assume the requirement is for publishing a pack intended for a specific engine right? Considering it’s under Unreal Engine Content guidelines.

So if you want to publish something as a UE pack under the Unreal Engine category, you will likely need that many objects. Otherwise you can publish it as FBX/OBJ models and textures under the 3D models category and then there is no minimum limit. You could even do a single model for 1 dollar or whatever.

No man, they let you migrate all that junk which they shouldn’t have in the 1st place. After migration, All new products must meet the content requirements outlined in the Unreal Engine Content Guidelines for the submitted Product Type.

Ok a quick search through the docs shows me this thing.

It mentions both individual assets and packs so both are possible in FAB. The question is though, do they allow you to upload either single asset and then 5+ (respectively 25+ for low-poly stylized) and not 2 or 3? Probably that’s the case.
