I create airport models so it's crucial to be able to zoom onto specific buildings or runway ends that are far away. I've used other 3D programs, such as Sketchup. In Sketchup you can hold your cursor over an object that is far away and just use the scroll wheel to zoom in exactly to that object.
Are you able to do that in Twinmotion? When I hold my cursor over an object in the distance, my camera does not zoom in where my cursor is pointing.
What you could do is follow the suggestion from , change the motion speed to driving '5' or fly '6', zoom out and then change the speed back to a lower one of your choosing, then use the scroll whell to slowly zoom in again.
Apologies that I cannot provide a better solution at this point, hope this helps.
Technically that does what I'm asking, but not exactly what I'm looking for. I need to actually be able to gradually zoom to the object instead of my camera switching straight to the object like your solution. I appreciate the answer tho because I didn't know you could find an object like that. Thanks!
Navigate as usual in the scene, but before you decide to render, you need or you plan to render a specific scene, — there is where you can find what you are looking for.
In “Image” mode, you can find settings like FX, Camera etc… - there you can see sliders for “Focal lenght” ( Zoom ) and Focus point for DOF , after you are happy of what you see, create the scene or you can still navigate as normal, hit “+” to create the scene, and Export as needed.
