I’m using RealityScan to generate 3D models for the rough gem stone. This is very useful so that gem cutters can virtually fitting different designs and find one that produce the max yield.
the rough stones are usually small, using the main camera works, but I wonder if the accuracy would be improved with wide angle camera, which shoot photons at closer range. Is it possible to add this? I know the whole facet community would be very exciting.
