Hi! I wonder if is possible to get the material Index inside a material to make things happen in the material.
for example having a texture that is a band of colors and the output for the color material is a crop of that band of color selected with the material ID. I know I can put a scalar parameter and I can change and select one of the bands, create a material instance and then a dynamic material instance and when apply to some mesh by index, just change that parameter in the material too but I wonder if that can be done automatically by the material if it knows the ID and can decide
