Currently having an issue with coming up with an way splitting up the model itself into pieces so I can make the trees become nicely destructible and apply physics after an certain point.
One of my friends is saying it’s not possible with SpeedTree but I’ve google’d a bit and couldn’t find any guides/tutorials/steps for doing this type of thing. So I’m hoping someone with experience with it could chime in and say if its doable or not and how it could be done in some steps for a beginner to modeling.
Right now SpeedTree only generates an entire tree like this as one static model;
I’m trying to figure out an way to break the model into pieces so that it can be reconstructed in blueprints(For things like destruction/animations/etc);
