Is it possible to query animation data at runtime?

I posted about this in the forums but haven’t been able to get an answer. I’d like to know if there is a way to retrieve animation data at runtime, specifically the locations and rotations of specific bones at a given frame, time or position alpha. I’m not looking to retrieve the positions or rotations of bones in their current state, or whatever the last final pose was. I’m looking to access such data before an animation is activated. Are there nodes or methods for this?
