For example, I’d like to be able to set new values to the Icon, Icon Color and Text attributes of a Map Indicator device using Verse scripting. I know I could have X variants of a Map Indicator with different values, and enable/disable them by script for the same result, but it feels like it would be cleaner to only have one and update its attributes, so I was wondering if that would be possible.
There are very few “new” things in UEFN compared to Creative 1.0 in regards to gameplay. If there is a “device” for the feature (See devices here) then you can usually access it with code.
My point is:
- Find the “device” that best fits your feature
- Try and use it/modify it as best you can
I don’t think there is anyway to change the mini map. But if there is a device for it that I don’t know about, certain properties will be available to access in Verse.
