Is it possible to just let us choose 2023.1 p1

With the new update preview2 my project that u was working on is completely different from what I did in the previous version. Path trace now with shadow artifact that looks like shadow bias size error. The issue is with all imported objects using datasmith.

if only I could've able to choose to launch previous version it would've solved all the issues

Hello ,

Thank you for posting in the community and we did have a major update with this new version in terms of UI and switching to a newer UE engine (5.1).

Here are the release notes for reference and the system requirements that you will need to review:

If you have not done so already please report the Path Tracer and shadow issue by following this link:

Kind regards,

I'm having the same issue. One side of the model is f*cked when I turn on Path Tracer, no matter what I do. It's also happening when I open older projects. Note the right side of the house, cars and parking platform. There should really be an option to download the old version when making such major changes to the UI and engine.

Hello ,

Thank you for posting in the community and hope you were able to submit a case if you have not done so already, and provide the file so we can further investigate. Was the content imported using datasmith and did this come from a Sketchup file?

This issue seems to be related to the scale/origin of certain elements but are still investigating. Some users reported being able to fix the problem by adjusting the Camera Near clipping value (increasing it) or applying a Depth of Field.
