Is it possible to export a mesh from Unreal with Vertex Painting?

Hi! Pretty new to Unreal, so forgive me if I’m missing something obvious.

I’m trying to export a ground mesh from Unreal back into Maya, but while retaining the vertex painting. In this instance, it’s because I have drawn a ‘path’ texture across the ground that would be useful to see the location of within Maya.
