The hud controller device doesn’t prevent the inventory menu, the one that contains Resources and stuff, from being accessed. The Input Trigger device doesn’t seem to be able to respond to the player accessing their inventory.

The HUD controller device will prevent inventory info from showing on the gameplay screen, but I’m not sure it disables access to it.
Additionally, you can prevent players from picking up or dropping items in their inventory with specific settings in the Island Settings Device.
