Unreal discontinued 32bit support since version 5 so you will be able to develop for android devices only if are 64bits.
So yes you can do it for Nvidia Shield. Maybe you cannot for android TV if 32bits.
anyway you can do it with UE4 builds. I dont think you want to use nanite or lumen on a chromecast
Thank you. Are you sure that it should work on Nvidia shield TV? I just made a build and got the same error when tried to install apk as for CCwGTV and TV. I need Unreal 5 for this project because it will be used on other platforms as well.
Nvm, I just checked the device with aida64, it has 64bit CPU but 32bit OS, sad… But thanks again for help.
I did some nvidiashield tests a time ago but not really really sure it was UE5…but the system is 64b so should be fine
For someone who may check this in the future: The Nvidia Shield TV Pro version is likely 64-bit, but I do not have the device to confirm it. However, the smaller version is 32-bit.
