Is it possible to attach anything to follow sockets/chunks from a distructable mesh?

Hi there

I have looked some time on the internet to find this answer - but the solutions i have found i can not get to work.

Basically i need to register a hit position or overlay position - from distructibles - without having any visual collision happening.
Is there a way to track that - without having the chunks to react on collision?

I have tried a few things - but now I ended up trying to attach anything to the sockets on the DM - and hopefully that could create an overlap event.

But for some reason i can not get anything to follow the sockets/chunks.

Any help will be so much apreciated - thanks.
