Is it okay to claim Professional license as a person who are eligible for Personal license

It looks like the following Limited-Time Free (Until June 3 at 9:59 AM ET) asset does not have a free option for Personal tier: Sci-Fi Bio Laboratory | Fab

Is it OK to grab Professional tier even as an individual with no more than $100k of revenue/funding in the last 12 months?

It’s alright to grab either tier. The rules for each tier still applies though. Just the professional has different licensing restrictions and is usually more expensive.

As far as I know, both personal and professional tier are part of the same license, I mean, give you the same rights and offer the same product and services. They are 2 tiers of the same license, the only difference between them is the gros revenue of the buyer at the moment they buy the product (so even if they start earning more later, they don’t have to pay a second time).
I wouldn’t buy a professional licence being eligible for a personal one because that would raise suspicions in case of a tax verification.

I think there is probably a bug in the actual limited free, giving this as a result

In fac,t Epic more than once stated that it’s not possible to have just one tier in sale, both should be in sale. I don’t see why this would be different in case of the free program.

It really was just a temporary problem, now it seems to be solved

Yep, that’s what worries me. The seller or Epic may request a verification in case of such a suspicion. That would be extra hassle even it’s easy to prove.

Anyway, thanks for pointing out this being a temporary problem. I grabbed the Personal license.
