Is it necessary to put (Day Sequence Device) for night & day cycle ?

Hi to all

I have a question about the Day Sequence device, i don’t want anything special just to conserve the day & night cycle, should i put the device from the content browser or i leave it ? i searched in the outliner and i found a Day sequencer device but locked, is it a default device and work just like Fortnite normal map does ?

Hi Kaydo,

By default, the Fornite DaySequence device is enabled. (The locked asset you see)

You’ll see the sun move across the sky and the shadows shift, also the skylight and sky texture will change in evening/night/dawn. (Use Day Sequence Device to control)

If you want more control, you can ‘Disable All Time Of Day Managers’ in the ‘World Settings’ tab and place an Environment Light Rig Device.
