Is Facial Control Rig broken in UE5.4?


I’m encountering a problem baking animations to ColntrolRig. I haven’t seen this problem before in previous versions.

First is when you automatically add blueprint it also adds control Rig for both body and face, so for face it is Face_ControlBoard_CtrlRig. But then if you remove it, add animation and choose an option to bake control rig Face_ControlBoard_CtrlRig is not going to be in the list…

I went to Face_ControlBoard_CtrlRig and added my face mesh as a preview and then it appeard as an option. But when you bake I see this behavior of the head not following head controller properly, rotation doesn’t even work.

Is this the indicator of ControlRig for face being broken in UE5.4?

Hi, I’m experiencing the same issue where I don’t have the option to bake to Face_ControlBoard_CtrlRig. I only have the option to bake to face_simple_CtrlRig and that loses my characters mouth animation. Did you find a solution to this? Cheers!
