Trying to get Destructibles to work. If I have a very large (5000x2000x500) destructible, and shoot it on one corner and apply 10 damage, a much larger portion than expected fractures.
I am using a fracture map, applied in the Physx Lab. The same one that shows on the mesh, but inverted. Unfortunately it doesn’t quite match up with the chunks in these shots.
Damage spread is set to 0.1. According to the docs, that means that applying 10 damage, that damage should spread 1 (I assume UU. Again, no units specified. )
That is the result of a single 10 damage shot in the top left corner of the mesh. There’s no collision damage, it’s all from point damage.
As you can see, that’s clearly wrong. I expect at most the hex and the hexes around it to fracture.
This is with “World support” set to true, and the base of the destructible sunk slightly into the static mesh that is the floor.
