Is Complex Collision for Cloth Simulation Possible?

Hello,
I was working on a character and I was wondering if there’s a way to apply a complex collision to my character for cloth simulation. The Character has a kilt-looking long skirt, but as you know, the human leg doesn’t really look like a capsule whereas capsule is the only shape that you can use for a collision.

My second question is: Is there a way to prevent collision related problems when the character moves too fast? Sometimes the entire cloth ignores the leg colliders and stands in front of the character like a cooking apron.
