I am new to the Unreal Editor and am trying to get everything set up, and understand the installation of plugins. I would love to use my 3dConnexion Spacemouse with the editor. However I am unable to get the 3dconnexion input plugin to install to my installed editor which is the current version 5.5. When I try installing the plugin which I have added to the Epic Games Library, which appears to be the only method to install this plugin, I get the error “You cannot install this plugin as there are no compatible engines installed.”
I expect that I’m not the only one using a Spacemouse so was wondering if I’m doing something wrong, or is the plugin is indeed not compatible with the current editor?

I am curious about this as well. The plugin works fine with 5.4 but doesn’t seem to be updated/supported on 5.5

Works on 5.6
The plugin you are trying to use does not work with Unreal Engine 5.5 right now. That is why you see the error when you try to install it. You are not doing anything wrong. The plugin may only support older versions. You may need to wait for an update or check if there is another way to use the Spacemouse.
