Im trying to get the new demolets off of the new Amazon system but the downloads keep dropping out and theres no way to resume them. They were going slow at first so I thought it might just be too much load but Ive tried again just now with download speeds of 250-450 KB/s and it still drops intermittently.
Can you give us some idea of where you are coming from? IP address and/or traceroute would be helpful.
umm traceroute to where? I can certainly provide my IP but its not static. Rocket just goes straight to download the file in my browser but I could link it to a better piece of downloading software.

My ISP is IInet Australia and it should be coming through their Perth Server, like waix or internode.

We’ve moved some things around and are now providing these samples via Cloudfront. Hopefully, that’ll provide you with a better connection and download speed. It can take up to 24 hours for these changes to propogate, so it might be a little while before you see any changes.

I’ll see if thats enough information Leslie, if its not I can email through a detailed traceroute if the problem persists. Its possible its on my end thats why I was asking if anyone else had troubles with packet loss. Thats what it looks like to me atleast as it goes fast then suddenly dies.
