Irritating bug

Hi,

I just noticed if my HDD is full where I store my projects the engine just crash (when I try to create a new project). I was just about to reinstall the engine when i noticed the HDD was full. So I deleted some old stuff to make room and everything worked like a charm after that.

I guess it wouldnt be too much of a hassle for You to make a check for drivespace upon new project creation

I’m sure someone already said this but incase Im the only one with a small hdd I thought Id let You know.

Also all creds for releasing the engine!!! Its awesome, THANKS!

Thanks for the report. I’m going to ask you a few additional questions, but if you don’t mind, I’d like to ask if you would log a report for this, along with the additional information, to the Bug Reports section of the AnswerHub (click the link in my signature).

• Just to be clear, it’s the Launcher that crashes, correct?
• Does it provide you with an error message or a crash callstack when it crashes?
• What is your operating system?
• Can you provide us with debug logs from when the crash occurs? Info on how to collect them here: A new, community-hosted Unreal Engine Wiki - Announcements and Releases - Unreal Engine Forums
