what are the general rules about IP in Fortnite or UEFN maps I talk about general stuff like in thumbnails or like in my case a map I want to make that should resemble a portion of another games map how close can I make it or can I even remake it in UEFN or will i be banned for that
I am in no way an authority on the subject, but I would say it depends. If you are using the name of the thing you are copying and saying you made it, then it will probably be taken down, especially if you are trying to mislead players into thinking it is an official version (“FNAF ported to Fortnite!”). If it is just a similar map layout that references the material, you are probably fine. Look at the gun game maps that are close to Call of Duty layouts. These are a good way to see how the community has offered references to IP that is more in the spirit of remixed content.
