iOS sleep/wake frame rate drop

Is anyone else experiencing a huge framerate drop when sleep/waking a running game on iOS?

I have a relatively simple level no mobileHDR, some physics simulation and it runs smoothly at 60hz, after sleep/wake the app only achieve 30hz and the only way to restore 60hz is to kill it and reload it.

I’ve replicated this on an iPod touch 5, iPad Mini gen 1, and an iPad Air.

30hz? 60hz? Do you mean fps by any chance? :>

Yes I do, the framerate takes a huge hit after the sleep wake button is used on a running game. And more importantly it doesn’t seem to recover without an App restart.

Hey Guys -

We have been able to reproduce this here, and have reported it for our engineers to look into a fix for this. Sorry for the inconvenience.
