IOS Launching Error

I am trying to launch my game on my phone and when I do I get this error:

I am using a windows computer and trying to compile the project on a mac remotely. Following this: Working on iOS Projects Using a Windows Machine in Unreal Engine | Unreal Engine 5.1 Documentation

The file that it is missing (UBT-BalloonPop-IOS-Development_Remote.txt does not exist on the mac. There is not even a folder called Roaming, only Local. Am I missing something? It created a bunch of other files on the mac.

I have the same error like you. I am using win 10 and trying to compile on a macbook pro 16 with mac os mojave. I get the same error.

Did you find any solution ???

Is there any update on this? I have the exact problem, but only on a new remote mac machine we are trying to set as a server. The build works fine when connecting to two other macs (developer machines)

Finally after almost two weeks of trying I found the problem. This is caused by Appleā€™s change of default shell scripting language from bash to zsh. Follow this instruction / to set it back to bash, your build will succeed.

I had a similar problem. I didnā€™t see the /bin/bash option in the list. So typed it in manually and was good to go.

This worked well on intel imac, but switching back to bash on M1 mac mini isnā€™t working, still same error. Did anyone else run into this?

UPDATE: looks like the shell script to setup mono was failing. I installed mono manually and everything works fine now.
