iOS Crashes

I have one tester that is getting crashes on an iPhone 6s Plus and iPad Air 2 with iOS versions 9.3 and 9.2.1 and I am unable to reproduce. All the crash logs look pretty much the same. If I’m reading it correctly it seems like the last thing happening is something with GKMatchMaker but I don’t have any kind of match making setup. I’ve attached 3 of the reports. Can anyone tell anything from them?

Hey ,

Could you verify whether or not this crash is still occurring in 4.11.0? The product version specified says you’re on a preview build.

What are the reproduction steps?

It still happened with 4.11 but I think I may have found why it was doing the game center matching. I still had a turn based match interface variable that I had not deleted. So I’m hoping that was it.

Are you no longer having an issue? If so, I will close this post.

I really don’t know. I assume deleting that variable will cause the gamecenter matchmaker functions to not be called anymore.

If you’re deleting the variable which is calling that certain function, you likely are removing that option from your game.

If this issue creeps up again, reply back here and we’ll assist you further. Make sure that you include the logs from the device too! :slight_smile:

I’m still getting crashes and there are still similar with the GKmatchmaker functions being called right before it crashes. I’m using source so is there something I can comment out to completely disable anything related to Game Center match making?

I’m starting to think it might be crashing in the background. I can’t reproduce it but crash logs have shown up on my devices without the game crashing while I’m playing. It is happening on almost 10% of sessions in iTunes analytics.
