I’m having trouble using control rig in UE5 and UE4, exporting skeletons from Blender to UE5 and UE4 projects using the Send To Unreal tool.
When I import the skeleton, the assets look correct to me, however when I create a control rig from it, the skeleton is invisible. The bones are listed correctly and show up when I click on them, but the mesh itself is invisible. It is visible correctly when I look at the Skeleton, Skeletal Mesh, and Physics asset.
The issue first happened with exporting a skeleton to a UE5 project, and I couldn’t find the solution so I made a new blender file, a new UE4 project, reinstalled Send To Unreal, enabled all the correct plugins in the UE4 project, made a new really simple skeleton in my new blender project and used Send To Unreal, still getting the invisible mesh in control rig.
Will attach some images of the issue to this post.
Knowing Unreal I’m probably just missing some checkbox somewhere XD
