Actually I was using 4.12.5 and then this thing happened and I updated to lastest verison of ue4 for now (It must be 4.14). My problem is when I ‘‘add’’ a geometry like a block, it becomes invisible. And also when I copy and paste a block same thing happens. I don’t know what to do and also I am not sure that it is a bug. When I build the lighting I can see these invisible blocks, they are turning to normal but when I add again, bug happens
Unfortunately, this has been a problem with BSP geometry for a while that we want to improve in the future when we get around to revamping how the system works. There isn’t any set timeframe for when this would occur, though.
There are already several tickets logged in our system related to BSP that are all currently backlogged.
For best practice when using BSP it’s better to use more blocks that aren’t edited by extruding faces or significant editing of the vertices or having a lot of overlapping BSPs in an area. These types of issues seem to happen more when doing so.
The only half fix I’ve found for this is if you go to the geometry panel on the right hand side reselect the polygons to merge and the solidity to solid and then press re order next to it to first the geometry will re appear, it’s still inconvenient but allows you to see the geometry your working with
