How It WorksEach organ has a customizable failure chance.
When an organ takes damage:
Damage is applied
A failure check is performed
Failed organs begin bleeding
Bleeding organs can no longer be healed
The player eventually bleeds out and dies
All values and failure chances can easily be customized.
This system does not use physical organs attached to the character.Instead, everything is handled through simple Blueprint function calls from the included component.
You can trigger organ damage from:
Projectiles
Animal attacks
Poison systems
Drinking systems
Radiation
Fall damage
Environmental hazards
Scripted gameplay events
Simply use the included overlap examples to call the functions anywhere in your own project.
Easy IntegrationSetup only requires:
Add the BP_Player_Organ_Damage component to your character
Change the damage zone cast node
Change the healing zone cast node
Enable ragdoll on your character mesh
Done.
