The IGS Organ Damage System is fully modular and function based, allowing developers to trigger organ damage or healing from anywhere in their project using simple Blueprint function calls.

      How It Works

      Each organ has a customizable failure chance.

      When an organ takes damage:

      1. Damage is applied

      2. A failure check is performed

      3. Failed organs begin bleeding

      4. Bleeding organs can no longer be healed

      5. The player eventually bleeds out and dies

      All values and failure chances can easily be customized.


      This system does not use physical organs attached to the character.

      Instead, everything is handled through simple Blueprint function calls from the included component.

      You can trigger organ damage from:

      • Projectiles

      • Animal attacks

      • Poison systems

      • Drinking systems

      • Radiation

      • Fall damage

      • Environmental hazards

      • Scripted gameplay events

      Simply use the included overlap examples to call the functions anywhere in your own project.

      Easy Integration

      Setup only requires:

      1. Add the BP_Player_Organ_Damage component to your character

      2. Change the damage zone cast node

      3. Change the healing zone cast node

      4. Enable ragdoll on your character mesh

      Done.
