I am trying to set up an “aim down sights” system using the FABRIK node. To better help me understand what I needed to do, I decided to set a vector with a 3D widget as the effector transform location. The effector target and tip bone are set to the right hand. The root bone is set to the right arm. This is giving me an inverted movement on the X and Y axis but behaves how I would expect on the Z-axis. The X and Y-axis bone movement is inverted and moves in the opposite direction of the effector vector. I am unfamiliar with FABRIK and Unreal as a whole, so I don’t know if this is a small error somewhere or a fundamental misunderstanding of how FABRIK works. Should the hand not be moving towards the vector as it is the effector?
