Introduction to Game Makers Forum

Hi, I’m an online college student majoring in Computer Science. I’m not going into game development after graduating, but I’m taking a game development course as an elective and just started using Unreal Engine 4. I know the latest version is Unreal Engine 5, but the assignments expect the class to use this version. I don’t have any specific game development interests since I don’t have previous experience with game design or development. I’m still interested in learning about game development since I like video games and have been playing them for as long as I can remember.

I also majored in CompSci and am a long-devoted game player. Trust me. You will be so excited to see what happens behind the scenes to make these games possible. I believe you’ve made a great decision with taking the game development course as an elective. You might find a niche that leads to a promising career!
