My game is tentatively titled “Tower Run” and is a twin-stick shooter with a bit of rogue-like elements to its reverse tower defense gameplay. Still in Alpha stages, the game lets you pilot a ship and shoot down turrets on your way to the end of the level. Get points on each level to upgrade your ship and its weapon. Upgrade your health, speed, shield, acceleration and more. ( I really need to figure out a better game description)

None that I’m aware of. I haven’t applied for one but it seems to be a common question.
We just submitted our application for our online RPG. A would really help us pump out content because all the base systems are already developed we just lack content.

Are there regular times when Unreal DevGrants are decided? I mean I know that there’s no deadline for the devs, but when would we get to know about the funding and how long would it approximately take until we see the money on our bank account? Would be very interesting for further planning. 
I believe they do rounds, possibly every three months? Don’t take my word for it though. It’s a bit like choosing a new pope, it’s an opaque process with possibly unusual criteria and a surprise answer. Just look for the smoke of Epic Granthood.
So let me get this straight? You guys at Epic have no problem blowing 20 to 50 k on projects that probably won’t even earn back your investment. But you won’t fund my game even though it’s nearly as good gameplay wise as lost soul aside and the graphics are considerably better??? Not even a job offer, nothing, Nada, zilch…

Not to mention, I created overdrive on a shoe string budget ( social welfare) with no help from anyone, and I honestly believe that overdrive already surpasses some of the so called greatest games in the hack and Slash genre. I think I would know, been playing games since I was four. And I’m ranked at 115 in " the world" on ninja theories dmc reboot for Virgils bloody palace, psn name matriculated. Hack and Slash is my favourite genre and I can honestly say overdrive is brilliant. Now imagine what I could do if I had some proper funding and a team of like minded individuals! It has the potential to be one of the greatest hack and Slash games ever made. So why the he’ll not support a real indie Dev who has worked his *** off like you claim you do?
