Hi Guys, is there an admin in this forum? I noticed that there are no replies on posts in here. I just want to know if our application was received and being reviewed atleast give us a notice that its received or being reviewed We submitted the application form for more than 2 weeks now the name of the game is VICTUCVINCIMUS VETERANS REVENGE V3 http://victusvincimus.com
I don’t think the forum post is anything to do with the process, it’s just a case of cargo-cultism.
People have said that either the grants are assigned in waves or that they hear back within a couple of weeks if at all. Nothing stopping you from reapplying every few months as you hit progress milestones.
Last Saturday i submited my game for dev grants i also have shared my indiegogo game link,But i haven’t yet got any reply. Please reply whether i can get dev funds for my game.
I’m not affiliated with Epic but since the same questions keep getting asked over and over (and because I’m too lazy to unsubscribe from the thread), here’s a short, unofficial FAQ:
There’s no deadline. As of UE 4.21 (Nov 2018) Epic just released a whole bunch of new grants for some nice looking games. It’s an ongoing, periodic process.
You won’t hear back unless you’re successful.
You can and should reapply as you hit new milestones, but it might be worth making more than just a bit of progress before reapplying. Do something cool and reapply then.
Applications are reviewed on a regular basis as they come in. The process takes some time so if you do not hear anything, it does not necessarily mean you have not been selected. It may just mean that we have not finalized the latest round.
Continue to make progress on your projects, and heed the advice shared here!
in there have a short clip of tease trial in game. Pure unreal engine recording with after effect text to hide all dull blank black :o
let me know if you want see prototype gameplays. we are working on level right now.
Me and my friend has a game WIP and we have worked on it and gotten some stuff working what are the minimum? of course we want to impress, but what is the minimum. we are a team of 2 people atm looking to start our own company. we both have used UE4 for at least 2-4 years. (you never know if you don’t ask)
Hello , Today I’ve applied for the program, the game Called Screaming Sky, its uses the surrounding noise to your advantage , and its a mobile game. https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/s…y/x/19712940#/
Also, I decided to release all in game assets for free on Market place if I’m able to hit a target goal
This is 2nd time I apply, but first time my request was quite not professional at all.
I hope I get their attention this time.
Does Epic accept applications for works and projects that are not able to be displayed publicly (at the time of application)? Are there recommendations when it comes to including imagery or other key information on such projects?
