“Intersecta” is an intense and intuitive tactical top-down space combat game with a distinct arcade feel and stylized sci-fi aesthetic.

Devoid of humans, the game is set in another dimension where only cybernetic insects have evolved. The player takes control of an Intersecta fighter pilot hoping to survive an intergalactic invasion as the Plague expands into the Hive solar system.

The game blends fast-twitch-based gameplay with the intelligent use of tactics to complete objectives. With hand crafted 2D game artistry, FX and animations, the game has a unique audio-visual style, utilising the power of Unreal Engine 5 for a stunning 2.5D experience.

This is the free playable demo showcasing a vertical slice of the single player campaign from Intersecta.

The free demo offers a vertical slice of the single player campaign (3 full levels: “Space Raid”, “Jungle Recon” and “The Firefly Convoy”).
The single player maps are varied and include sub missions, NPC interaction and boss fights.
The player can play through the demo on easy, normal, hard and insane difficulties to add replay factor. There are potentially hours of gaming in the demo.
This vertical slice contains the full release version of gameplay and game mechanics e.g. customisation of the space ships, offline achievements, ranks & stats, cinematic plot-lines etc.
Includes the 1.0 version of the “Training Zone” mode which is a survival game mode where the player has to survive for 60 minutes to complete it.
