I’ve used that tool they suggest in the article and my CPU passes. Maybe I can get a warranty replacement or something though.
I tried prime 95 torture test and my computer immediately BSOD’s unless I change the Loadline Calibration BIOS setting.
Also compiling unreal does seem like a good test. If you have even a single internal compiler error, clearly you’re suffering from instability.
I’m interested in trying this microcode update you linked to. I’d be super happy to have this issue go away. It’s extremely frustrating to buy some super high end parts and deal with hardware instability.
