Internal compiler error while compiling Unreal Engine 5.3.1 from Source

I have this problem as well which is very frustrating because it didn’t used to happen when I first got the computer.

It helps to change a setting in the Bios called CPU Vcore Loadline Calibration and set it to higher values. It can make the CPU get hotter but makes it more stable or something. I’m not a huge expert.

I found some reddit post that explained this exact issue with Prime95 instantly crashing on the i9 13900K. This is one example. https://www.reddit.com/r/intel/comments/17w1o60/prime95_worker_failures_with_a_i9_13900k/

Compiling Unreal seems to do a great job stressing the CPU as well.

Unfortunately I just tried compiling 5.5 and got a few errors again. I’m seeing what happens if I turn up the setting. So far I turned it up one more notch and the engine is compiling without errors. Maybe it’ll get to a point where I have to just get a new CPU if it keeps getting bad. I got the i9 at the time where Intel overtook AMD again but now it might be time to go with amd cpus as my next one.
