Hello,
We’re encountering an intermittent error titled “Invalid or corrupted input data” when processing a dataset of high-resolution aerial images through RealityCapture CLI on a VM. Our dataset typically consists of 20 to 30 images captured from various orientations. Here’s the VM configuration:
- OS: Windows Server 2022 Datacenter on AWS EC2 g4dn.xlarge instance
- CPU: Intel(R) Xeon(R) Platinum 8259CL @ 2.50GHz
- RAM: 16 GB
- Reality Capture Version: 1.3.2
The error replicates on a local Windows 11 machine as well.
Interestingly, the workflow runs smoothly via the GUI but consistently fails when executed through the CLI. The RealityCapture support team suggested that image misalignment might be causing the error. We’ve addressed the alignment issues significantly, yet the problem persists.
We’ve experimented with modifying our CLI workflow by adjusting settings such as the flight log, reconstruction region, and other parameters, and even tried replicating settings from a successfully running GUI setup on a local machine.
Any insights or suggestions to resolve this issue would be highly appreciated. Thanks!
