Hi All,
I am working on an interior project where I try dig into UE4 and understand how it could be applied to my work. Here is the first preview:
I will be posting updates here and also ask questions hoping for some help.
My first question would be: how should I handle different lighting scenarios in my project? I would like to store different lightin setups for evaluation and for final presentation want to show day and night/evening versions. Saving it in differnt projects is the only way or is some better workflow possible? All lighting is static for now, I didn’t experiment with dynamic yet.
Actualy it is exactly what I am looking for searching google and community third day but couldn’t find any information if it would be possible and if yes than how? Do you know how to create second set of lightmaps for another lighting setup?
Create a light setup and build the lighting. Save it. Then change the lights the way you want and build the new lighting setup. Than click “save as” and give it another name, you’ll create a second map. Create as many maps as you want and you can change between them via in-game menu or something like that…
