But we think it is of strategic importance to check how is the work in our colleagues in the business.
I certainly want to see this community grow. And continue to use this engine, which I love. If moderators do not agree with the links below, Certainly, can and should removing it. There isn’t an advertisement for the competitor.
The question is, Why, Nearly two years later with Unreal 4, with well over 20 or more years of experience in Developing an powerful engine, Which I follow very early, since demoscene days.
And using a such platform that gives envy to any competitor, Why? Why we did not find in the Marketplace, things like these?:
Get cracking then. You have the tools at your disposal. There are a number of people working on things like the items shown. Unity has been running its market place for a longer time and so is more mature. UE will surpass the asset store as it has surpassed features of other engines over time. If you want a prebuilt MMO or RPG engine they are available to buy. All you need to do is add assets and there you have it, another generic game. If you have ideas you wish to input into something different though get a team of people on this forum to start bouncing ideas around and start making a game or develop a system for the market place.
We already have an RPG starter kit, a healing kit, blueprint inventory, and a spell casting system on the marketplace. What exactly are you looking for?

Well as a guess the ability to “plug in” what could be considered a system level feature was limited due to the inability to connect assets to already in place designs. You can buy a kit but then it takes a lot of work to make it work.
With the problem fixed in 4.8 it’s just a matter of time before tool will come out that will do things like retarget animations or make templates to match up with what is already in place.
