Interactable meshes inside a blueprint

Hello all ! Am looking a way to interact with different parts of a blueprint.

The blueprint is an engine and it contains many meshes, (cylinder, pistons, valves, fuel injector, cranckshaft etc…), I want to be able to select each mesh and perform some actions on them separately, like moving, rotating, changing material and so on. Which method can I use to achieve this ?

I tried converting multiple meshes into blueprint but it doesn’t work and with this method I can only interact with the whole engine, not each element separately.
Can someone help me ?

Thanks in advance !

Hey @Borisle3eme!

This should be doable by getting a reference to the engine then casting to its Blueprint, then “As BP_Engine” GET whatever you’re needing, as long as the parts are individual static mesh components within the blueprint.

Can you show us what you’ve already got and we can try to go from there?
