Looks like DecrementInt is using 0 rather than 1.
Hey RiseAgainst,
Are you using 4.8 Preview 2? I am unable to replicate the node ‘integer - integer’ as a value of 0, when I create mine it is automatically set to 1. Could you please provide some additional information for me? Is this only happening on one project, or all of your projects?
Looking forward to hearing from you, thanks!
Yes, 4.8 Preview 2.
Here’s the snippet that triggered it. I verified my variable wasn’t changing so I double-clicked on the macro and got what you see in the OP.
I was surprised something so basic would be an issue, so maybe I accidentally did something on my end. I checked others (increments, float decrement, etc.) and they were fine, so I thought it might be the result of a refactor.
If you’re not seeing a problem, reject the bug and close it out (and I’ll apologize in advance for the red herring).
Thanks!

Don’t close it! =) I can confirm the bug. I just created a fresh Third Person Template and I get the same result from a Decrement Int node.
I’m running 4.8 Preview 2.
Hey,
Thank you both for looking into this issue a bit further. I have dug a bit deeper into this and I see that this has been bugged as UE-15560 which has since been fixed in an internal build. Currently it doesn’t look like the fix will make it in for 4.8 but it should be here when 4.9 comes along.
Thanks!
Stumbled across this in 4.8.1, too. Why - for the love of god - did you release this when it’s clearly broken?
Follow up. If you fixed this by hand in 4.8, 4.8.2 messes this up again (as all hotfixes will).
Hey,
UE-15560 has been closed as completed for UE 4.9. Please wait for 4.9 to see the changes of this bug released.
Thank you!
