Instructions for the game

Hi,

I wanted to have some information, I wanted to first send a message to Epic to ask my question but I think they can’t easily be contacted by email.

In my game, I use the free “Infinity Blade: Weapons” pack from Epic. I wanted to know if for my game instructions, I could make a sketch of one of the swords from the pack that I use in my game ?

Thank you for your responses and best wishes to everyone for 2024.

Do you know where I can send an email to get the information ?

Greetings!

There’s almost no direct line of communication with Epic, unfortunately.

Unless it’s an issue with something you paid for, because this platform is free, their support for it is virtually non-existent.

I have successfully sent a message via the Marketplace. They opened a ticket and told me I would get a response from an agent. I will post the answer.

Here is the answer :

"Thank you for contacting Marketplace Support.

All content obtained from the UE Marketplace is licensed for use under the Epic Content EULA here:

Unfortunately, we are not able to provide legal clarifications for specific use cases. If you are unsure if your use case is allowed under the license above, we recommend reviewing this with your own legal counsel.

Thanks,
Unreal Engine Marketplace"

They could not give me a precise answer to my specific question.

What is your opinion on the Epic Content EULA and my question ?

You’ll be fine. Truly.

If you bought things off the Marketplace and use them, specifically, in UNREAL. (Which, again, is why I said, they’d only really respond to purchase inquiries.)

I don’t fully understand what you mean.

If you mean “sketch” as in “drawing”, then ABSOLUTELY NOT, because it’s their property. But as long as you use EPIC products in EPIC platforms, you’ll be fine.

Ok thank you. That’s what I understood.
