Hey all.
So I had some nifty ideas on how I could use children of Physics Materials to do a lot more than their original purpose. Namely in the realm of ballistics. However I ran into a snag. Any variable changed on a child of a physics material is altered beyond the play session and is applied to every surface using that physics material.
I wanted to know if there’s a way to instance physics materials so each surface can hold it’s own variables independently during each play session.
If anyone can help with this I’d greatly appreciate it. Although I’m starting to get the feeling it is in fact impossible.
