Instance Static Mesh in BluePrint has no collision?

When ever I use an “instance static mesh” in a Blue Print that mesh has no collision. I have no idea what’s going on. I tested putting “static mesh” instead of “instance static mesh” and the collision showed up but I obviously couldn’t have the blue print reference the “static mesh”.

Does the mesh have collision in the static mesh editor? If it does, try setting ‘use complex as simple’ and see if that helps.
