Install failed - the installation is corrupt

Hi there! When I try to download Unreal Engine 4.6.1 (and 4.5.1, which I tried with as well), I get “Installation failed - the installation is corrupt”. This happens after the engine tries to install several times.

I tried searching for an answer and I found a lot of similar problems and even the very same problem, but none of the solutions in these threads helped.

I tried to create the file “$movedMarker”, I tried deleting all the files and installing the whole program again and I tried to deactivate my firewall. Nothing works, I keep getting a corrupt install.

try to install the program into another location and make sure the installation folder is not read-only and also try running as administrator hope this helps

Thanks alot! I installed in on C: instead of D: and now it works!

Very weird though as I had it installed on D: before but I dont mind as long as it works somehow
