Inside Unreal: VALORANT's Performance Requirements

WHAT
VALORANT is a free, 5v5 tac-shooter matchup to plant or defuse the Spike, developed by Riot Games. On Inside Unreal this week, we’re joined by Riot’s Principal Software Engineer, Marcus Reid, to talk about VALORANT’s performance requirements in three different scenarios: the server, low-end player hardware, and high-end player hardware. Marcus will detail each configuration’s unique challenges and demo several engine optimizations they’ve made! There will be Q&A on the topic so feel free to ask your questions here or on Twitch.

Excited to see this stream

Very cool!
Was following this game since they announced it.
Interested to see what techniques they used to get good performance, and prediction.

Very interested in seeing this. Great job community team for setting up juicy streams!

GOod that this is well optimized, makes it so easy for so many people to play!

Excellent stream. Would love to see more dives into other parts of UE4 valorant development

Really helps for small studios or indies to see how big companies work! I want more!
