This is awesome! You all just keep up kicking a**!! Direct support from Epic is a huge deal for indie developers (as you’re clearly aware of). Chance Ivey spotlighted my game Junealmost 6 years ago and it game me a lot of motivation to keep going. After that spotlight I started to taking the development process a lot more serious. It was like vindication that I was doing something really cool. I made a submissionfor one of Epic’s game jams themed “Raining Cats and Dogs”. It didn’t win but AwesomeAllar streamed it and thought it had some really good mechanics so I kept working on it. About a year later I submitted it to Steam Greenlight and it got approved. I released it into Steam’s Early Access a few months later. About a year after that I got it approved for Playstation 4. In October of 2017 I did a full release on Steam and PS4 and I’ve shipped a little over 100,000 units to date!!! I’m still working on the second episode But it’s coming along great (image at the bottom). I guess what I’m trying to say is this is a long and arduous journey for indie developers and I sincerely appreciate the effort Epic Games puts in to help us. I’m not at all being cheesy when I say I couldn’t have done it without your support. I’m really glad to see other developers lifted up like this. I’ll definitely check out these games and pay it forward.
