Hello everyone,
I am nearing the completion of setting up my Steam page, along with releasing the trailer for my upcoming game. I intend to use the Unreal Engine logo for the first 0.5 to 1 second of the trailer. To do this, I need to fill out the “ue-trademark-license” document and submit it to the support department for approval, allowing me to use the logo.
However, I’ve encountered an issue in attempting to contact support for further clarifications before submitting the document. I’ve emailed the following addresses without receiving a reply:
-
branding@unrealengine.com (sent on 12.03)
-
trademark@epicgames.com (sent on 14.03)
-
legal@epicgames.com (sent on 18.03)
I even sent a “kind reminder” to “branding” and “trademark,” yet there has been no response. Given the apparent impossibility of establishing contact, I then reached out to epic games support at “contact@support.epicgames.com.” They replied promptly, informing me that: “This type of inquiry is handled by a different team, and we do not have visibility on this. I wish I could contact them on your behalf, but we are unable to do so due to certain restrictions.”
At this point, the only option seems to be to physically visit Epic HQ and knock on their doors, so to speak.
Has anyone here encountered a similar issue? If so, how did you manage to resolve it?
Thank you.
