Input Events in Weapons

Has anyone had any luck making these kind of events actually trigger? I’ve tried enabling input from the owner controller on the weapon, but the input events still don’t trigger.

so far the only one I can get to fire is if I link whatever I want to use off the construction node but I don’t want it firing on that it’s just the only one that has ever fired

I had Tick events working in weapons too, but it wasn’t a good fix for my needs.

You need to set some flags. Click on the Input Event in your graph, in your details panel on the left side there should be “consume input”, you need to uncheck that. I don’t remember if you need to uncheck “override parent binding” for it to work or not.
