inherit position but not rotation

How would I go about having a mesh inherit position from another object but not rotation?

More details required!

As simple as that really. So if it was 3ds max, I’d parent one object to the other, then go to the inherit motion settings for the child and uncheck the three rotation boxes. That way the child would follow the parent’s position but not rotation.

Set Rotation Type to World a.k.a. Absolute. It’s all relative by default.
