ingame UMG text brightness

Hi, i have labels on loot items that appear ingame, in actual 3D space, not drawn in hud. Problem i have is, labels are quite dim, hard to notice. Is there any way o make them brighter? Somehow apply material?

Ingame it looks like this, and this is basic test level. With textures and all it will be even harder to see. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Instead of making them 3d place a billboard or material billboard component and use it in screen space . Much better way to simplify things

could you please point me to some tutorials? no idea how would i go about it or what to search for. thanks!
