Ingame AI Behavior Tree Editor

Hello UE4 community,

my current personal project is to build an ingame behavior tree editor. I plan to use it for a VR application. Is it possible to move the buildin editor into the game? Iam currently reading through the BehaviorTreeEditor module of the UE4 source code. It would be great to get some tipps. How can i get a good overview of the systems underlying functionality? Where should i put my focus?

Is it possible to switch the editor UI layer with an ingame UMG UI layer?
